PBC Cares Hurricane Maria Volunteer Opportunities

In partnership with Palm Beach County Cares and Palm Beach Atlantic University we are recruiting volunteers to help support residents and communities in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

 

Volunteer Opportunities:

October 12 through November 12, 2017

  • Weekdays – 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Weekends – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Volunteer work requirements:

  • Accept donation deliveries at donation management centers (specific address and directions will be provided upon sign-up).
  • Sort, pack and stack donations and boxes for palletizing donated goods for relief efforts.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Activities held indoors and outdoors, so please, dress comfortably - closed toed shoes are required. 
  • Water and snacks will be provided. 
  • Please download and complete the Volunteer Agreement and Release. Email form back to  JodieBoisvert@UnitedWayPBC.org.
  • Minimum age to volunteer is 16. All 16 and 17 year olds must have parent/guardian sign the Volunteer Agreement and Release form.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift begins.
